Seeking Aid

#1
Hey there everybody,

I'm looking for tips and tricks on how to clean the dust and stuff out of the components of my computer, as well as ways to keep my computer fast and stable. How can I lower the usage of my CPU and how can I keep it cooler and prevent it from overheating?

Thanks,

Like gran said, better or more fans. As far as cleaning the dust and grime off of the components, just use an air duster.

Get an air duster(those cans that spray air) and open up the sides of your PC and just clean out the dust. Don't forget to also clean the outside as well. Too much dust can build up and over heat your CPU/GPU. I do this on a 2-3 month basis or if my PC shows any bad signs.

This. I also do it every few months.

Air duster for and clean surroundings. For PC overheating, I would DEFINITELY add some more thermal paste.

Software wise, you can limit your programs that run at startup within msconfig. (If you don't know what it is, then do not touch it.)
