Course Map Ideas

Hello, I'm making a course map and I need some ideas.

1- I need obstacle ideas.

2- I some map name ideas.

3- I need materials that please the eye.

4- I need some map tier recommendations. 





Greeen: Important

Yellow- Semi-important

red- Isn't that important

1) bhop section and the gliding thing
2) mg_bob_ross
3) textures aren't that important
4)depends on how difficult you want to make the map. If you're undecided just go down the middle with a T3

Try to limit yourself to as little 50/50 areas as possible. It's always a pain to learn a new course map and there's just a whole section where you have to guess what blocks you can jump on and what blocks you can't. Most of the time it just kills the map for me and I leave not bothering to learn it.

Don't add a moving platform part, in my opinion, learning timing is annoying and unnecessary to having fun and running maps.

Alright make sure you really got them down. If you don't and decide to start your map you will have to go back and fix dumb errors.

EDIT: If I were you, I'd try to make the map versatile. A good map allows for some skill-based skips in order to allow speedrunning, while also making sure the map is still sort of difficult to beat. Also do your best to make the map with different styles in mind (make sure a style can't skip the entire map).
