Looking forward to the changes. I think we should also remove some extra shit such as when map vote comes the voice that counts down 3 2 1. Also in 1v1 like when the map ends a whole lot of unneeded effects are played. should help as well getting rid of those.

I agree with this as well. About getting rid of store because people don't want to wait 2 minutes for it to download, wouldn't the store BRING IN new players instead of turning them away? I think the idea of other players seeing you have a cool hat or playermodel or whatever will intrigue most people to continue playing to get that item.

If models are staying are skinny and fatso?  Those are really unique things that I enjoy.

if pretty sure skinny and fatso are just based on entity properties.  you can set those through console on any server.

I would agree.  I think when the admin presence on the server was more pronounced, it was more attractive to people to join the server and get to know people.  a server without any character or interacting staff will surely be forgotten by anyone passing through.

While some people would whine about their punishments, and some admins would punish unfairly, i honestly thought the whole system was very benefitial, and it actually was part of what attracted me to swoobles to begin with.  If i was simply looking for the fanciest BHOP timer and best map selection, i probably would have passed right by swoobles after a few days.  The heirarchy system and increasing command power is appealling to many people, and actually kind of adds a new level to the experience of playing on the servers.

The nature of a session based game like counter strike, is that any progress you make in 1 round will be erased by the next.  In other words, it doesnt make a difference in gameplay to me if I beat bhop_arcane on swoobles one day, and beat it on another server the next day.  What kept me coming back as a young swooblet was this structured authority system and the idea I could rise through the ranks if I put the time in.  These days, the ranks sytem does this to a minor extent, but a single number printing chat on connect isnt anything thats going to keep someone coming back.  Now the thing i see attracting new players the most is getting to know the active players. (Which has been said is a decreasing pool, though not drastically on bhop.)

I understand the reasons why the big rule/admin changes were made, but the drastic change in community structure in-game definitely has contributed to a decline of players.
